The Edmonton Oilers (12-10-2 SU, 13-11 ATS) are arguably the NHL’s most surprising team through the first quarter of the 2016-17 season.They finished last in the Western Conference the 2015-16 season with a record of 31-43-8. The Oilers have exceeded expectations so far this season. Their strong start can largely be attributed good early-season performances.
