Bitcoin Picks Terms and Conditions
Qualification
- Bitcoin Picks contests that are Free Entry Betslip Buy-in Entry, and Bitcoin (BTC) Buy-in are open to all players of Nitrobetting.
- New, active, and inactive players from the sportsbook, poker, and casino are allowed to join the contests.
- Players are required to log in to their Nitrobetting.eu account before they can join the contest/s and make selection/s.
- Players can enter the Bitcoin Picks contests for Free or via Betslip Buy-in or Bitcoin Buy-ins. This will be explicitly stated in each contest.
- This promo is only available to good-standing players of Nitrobetting; previously banned players are ineligible to win any prizes in this promo.
- Players found to be multi-accounting or involved in any other fraudulent act for the purpose of circumventing the rules in this promo and other promos will be flagged and banned from this promo and other promos.
- All users are required to make a first-time deposit (0.5 mBTC minimum) and have an active account in order to receive any winnings from Nitrobetting poker freerolls, contests, promotional funds, and free bets including these Bitcoin Brackets contests. Prizes and winnings of free contest (no entry or fee required) carry a mandatory 3-time rollover. Users may be asked to activate 2FA to their accounts for security purposes.
How to Play
- Users will be asked to make picks or selections in a given contest.
- The number of picks (Questions and Answers) vary from contest to contest.
- The “Questions” will be on the left side of the page and the “Answers” on its immediate right.
- Users will be required to choose one selection for each question and this will serve as the users’ official entries to the contest.
- Users are allowed to change their selections multiple times up to the deadline.
- Each contest will have different deadlines depending on the earliest start time of a game/event in that contest.
- All entries are final past that deadline and users will not be able to change their selections.
- Contests will feature a sporting event or a combination of sporting events featuring moneyline, spread, totals (over/under), team props, player props, or other betting lines.
- In some contests, multiple entries are allowed per user; this means that users may submit more than one (1) entry for that particular contest and will have a bigger chance of taking down the prize. The maximum number of entries per contest will be explicitly stated in the tournament info section for that contest.
How to Win/Point System
- Each Bitcoin Picks’ Question and Answer set will be worth one (1) point and the user(s) with the highest point total will be declared the winner of the contest.
- If a user fails to make a selection in the “Answers” section, that player will earn zero (0) points for that particular pick section.
- The maximum number of points earned in each contest will be equal to the total number of Questions and Answers. These points will be shown in a ranking system (leaderboard) on the right side of the contest page.
- In case a game/s ends up in a tie, a player will earn zero (0) points for that match-up. Therefore, if the contest has the “perfect picks” clause for a special jackpot prize, no player will be able to end up with a perfect slate for that contest.
- In case users are tied for the top spot in a particular contest, multiple winners may be declared.
- In some cases, a special tiered leaderboard system will be applied and this will be explicitly stated in the contest details. In this set up, multiple winners will be declared.
- If a game/s is canceled or suspended, with no decision to immediately reschedule that particular game, the entry in this selection will not be graded but other games will be graded as is. Therefore, if the contest has the “perfect picks” clause for a special jackpot prize, no player will be able to end up with a perfect slate for that contest.
- If one or more players in a Bitcoin Picks contest’s selection does not play in a particular game, that players’ stat will be graded as zero
- Each unique entry will be graded separately and will have separate total points.
Payout/Prizes
- The total prize/payout formula for the events are as follows:
Prize Pool = (Total Number of Entries) multiplied by (Buy-in Amount minus Tournament Fee)
- In case a contest is declared as a guaranteed event the payout amount will be the declared guaranteed prize amount stated regardless of number of entries for that particular contest.
- In case the total prize pool is higher than the guaranteed amount declared, the total payout will be the higher amount between the prize pool set and the guaranteed amount will be awarded to the winners.
- The tournament fee will vary from contest to contest; set at a minimum of 0% and a maximum of 10% of the buy-in amount.
- Each contest will have a different preset payout/prize pool and will be explicitly stated in the contest details.
- Prizes will be shared by all eligible winners unless otherwise noted.
- In some cases, a special tiered payout system will be applied and this will also be explicitly stated in the contest details. In this setup, multiple winners will be declared with this special payout system applied as winnings of each eligible winner.
- In some cases, there will be a jackpot reward system for the winners. This will be explicitly stated in the contest details. If a user(s) hit the jackpot prize for that contest, all other payout systems will be voided.
- The total prize pool will be split evenly among the winning entries in case more than one entrant wins it. The formula used will be Total Prize Pool divided by the Number of Winning Entries.
- Example #1: There were 5 entries left standing at the conclusion of a Nitro Picks contest with 300 mBTC prize pool. The 5 entries left were from Player A (2 entries), Player B (2 entries) and Player C (1 entry). The total prize pool (300 mBTC) divided by the number of winning entries (5) is 60 mBTC. Therefore, Player A, who had two entries, will receive 120 mBTC; Player B, who also had two entries, will receive 120 mBTC and Player C, with one entry, will receive 60 mBTC.
- Example #2: There were 5 entries left standing at the conclusion of the Nitro Picks contest with 300 mBTC prize pool. The 5 entries left were from Player A, Player B, Player C, Player D, and Player E. The total prize pool (300 mBTC) divided by the number of winning entries (5) is 60 mBTC. Therefore, all users will get an equal share of the pot (60 mBTC) since no player had multiple winning entries in the pool.
- All winners’ accounts and entries will be up for verification before the awarding of the prizes.
- All prizes will be awarded within 1-3 days after the end of the contest. If prizes are not awarded after three (3) days, users may send a support ticket.
- Prizes and winnings will only be paid to active accounts (minimum deposit of 0.5mBTC required). Regular action and normal deposit activity
will be required in order to disqualify bonus hunters and bonus abusers. - Standard rollover rules apply for all winnings from all free entry contests.
- No rollover requirements for winners from the Betslip Buy-in and Bitcoin Buy-in contests.
- All prize pools will be paid in bitcoin at nitrobetting.eu sportsbook unless otherwise noted.
- All prizes, in Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin (BTC) Free Bets, or any other kind of prize, will expire after 14 days from the date/time of the end of the contest. Any prizes will be voided if not awarded to the player’s account for any reason (e.g. account requirements not met by the player, unsettled account and entry disputes, etc) after this period.
- All prizes allotted for disqualified players, either because of fraudulent activity in this promo or other promos and for breaking Nitrobetting’s main rules and guidelines will remain unawarded and within the exclusive control of Nitrobetting.
Entry / Bitcoin Buy-in
- In Bitcoin Buy-in Picks contests, users are required to spend a specific BTC amount for an entry.
- The bitcoin amount will be deducted from the users’ Nitrobetting account and the balance will be reflected immediately if the buy-in is successful.
- A tournament fee will be taken from the total buy-in entry and will not be part of the prize pool.
- The tournament fee will vary from contest to contest; set at a minimum of 0% and a maximum of 10% of the buy-in amount.
- The buy-in feature in any Bitcoin Buy-in contest will feature a secondary confirmation to warn the user that they are going to be entering a specific contest.
- No refunds– any bitcoin buy-in confirmed by the system will be final and no refunds will be allowed, either directly from the contest system itself or from a request from the user later.
- Each player is allowed to join any number of unique Bitcoin Picks contests.
- In some select Bitcoin Buy-in contests, only a group of qualified users are allowed to join and/or win the prize. The qualifying conditions will be pre-announced and other pre-set requirements before the launch of the said contest/s.
Entry / Betslip Buy-in
- In betslip buy-in Bitcoin Picks contests, users are required to submit a valid betslip before they can join the contest. Each betslip submitted is subject to system review which determines its validity.
- For each Bitcoin Picks contest, there will be different bet requirements for that betslip. This will be explicitly stated in each contest.
- Betslip requirements may include one or more of the following:
-
- Date range – Only bets made within the stated date range will be accepted.
- Minimum Risk – Only bets made that have equal to or more than the stated minimum risk will be accepted.
- Bet Type – Only bets made of the stated bet type (straight or parlay) will be accepted.
- Minimum Number of Legs – If parlay, only bets made that have equal or more than the stated minimum number of legs will be accepted.
- Featured Sport or League – Only bets made that feature at least one (1) of the stated sport/league will be accepted.
- Minimum odds (Straight) – Only bets made that have equal or more than the stated minimum odds will be accepted. If a straight bet, the system will check if at least one bet has equal to or higher than the minimum odds required.
- Minimum odds (Parlay) – Only bets made that have equal or more than the stated minimum odds will be accepted. If a parlay bet, the system will check the Combined Parlay Odds if it’s equal to or higher than the minimum odds required.
- Betslip Restrictions: Live Bets and Alternate Lines are not allowed as entries. However, there could be special contests wherein these types of bets will be the requirement and this will be explicitly stated in that particular contest.
- If the Bitcoin Picks Contest does not state the specific betslip requirement, it means that the contest is open to all types and values for that particular contest.
- At the very least, the bet requirements will include a Date Range (based on betslip timestamp or “betslip placed”, US Eastern Time) and a minimum bet risk.
- Only betslips within this date range and equal to or above the minimum bet risk (plus other betslip requirements, if applicable) will be accepted as betslip buy-in entry for these Bitcoin Picks contests.
- The minimum bet risk should be for a single/straight or parlay bet and not combined with other bets in that betslip. (If multiple bets are found in a single betslip, at least one (1) needs to meet the minimum bet risk requirement.)
- Each betslip has a unique Betslip ID (please go to your Transactions Page to check your betslip details) and this ID will be the number considered for each entry.
- There are instances when betslips feature multiple singles/straight bets and for the purpose of the entry in this promo, this can only be used once to enter a Bitcoin Picks contest.
- “Unique Betslip Rule” applies; if a betslip has already been used as an entry in any other Bitcoin Picks or other Nitrobetting promos/contests, this betslip can not be used to enter any other Bitcoin Picks.
- If a player submits a betslip that has already been used in other Bitcoin Picks or other Nitrobetting promos/contests, the entry will be considered invalid and the player will not be eligible to receive any prizes. Repeat offenders will be flagged.
- If a player is caught submitting a betslip of another player and not his own, that user will be flagged and banned from all current and future Nitrobetting promos/contests and will be ineligible to win any prizes.
- Each player is allowed to join any number of Bitcoin Picks contests.
Entry / Free
- In Bitcoin Picks contests labeled with “Free Entry”, the players are not required to submit a betslip to join the contest.
- Each player is allowed to join any number of Bitcoin Picks contests.
- In some select free contests, only a group of qualified users are allowed to join and/or win the prize. The qualifying conditions will be pre-announced and other pre-set requirements before the launch of the said contest/s.

Point System/How to Win

- The winning square is the “ending digits” of a particular score or statistic and this is defined differently per sport, prop and/or event. (See “Declaration of Winning Squares” section)
- The winning combination type (team/player scores/stat) varies from sport to sport, but will always be in two digits. (See “Declaration of Winning Squares” section)
- If a user correctly predicts the winning combination, s/he will be declared the winner or among the winners of that contest.

- Prize pools will vary from contest to contest.

If there are multiple winners, all will evenly share the predetermined prize pool in that particular contest. (Prize pool divided by the number of winners).
