These two teams could not be more different from each other. This game will kickoff off conference play for the Mountain West Conference.

The Aggies were able to bounce back in week two, taking on Stony Brook. Utah State mopped the floor up there and won at home 62-7.
There have been a lot of points scored by this prolific Utah State offense. But they are going to be facing a tough San Diego State Aztecs defense in this conference opener.
San Diego State off to Strong Start
San Diego State is 3-0 heading into this matchup, and the Aztecs have only allowed an average of eight points per game.
Defensively, San Diego State is as sound as teams come, but the big problem has been its offense. In week one, the Aztecs only scraped together six total points. They have progressively improved since then, but it does raise an eyebrow and cause for some concern.
The Aztecs have been led by their rushing attack and running back Jordan Byrd. Byrd has 187 yards and two touchdowns on the ground so far this season. They have utilized Byrd to control the clock and keep the tempo where they want it.
