The Western Athletic Conference, represented by the Utah State Aggies and the Mid American Conference, represented by the Toledo Rockets will clash this weekend in the 16th annual Famous Idaho Potato Bowl in Boise, Idaho.
Toledo, tied for second place in the West Division of the Mid-American Conference with Ball State, will make its first appearance at the annual Famous Idaho Potato Bowl and 13th Bowl game since 1917.

The No. 18 Utah State Aggies closed the season with 10-2 record overall, and 6-0 in the WAC, setting a school record for victories this season, and wining the conference title for the first time since 1936.
The Aggies enter the game with six straight victories and 15 wins in their last 18 games. Its only two defeats this season came by a combined five points to the No.22 Wisconsin Badgers (14-16) and BYU Cougars (3-6).
