Philadelphia Eagles Battle the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LVII
The biggest three stories of Super Bowl LVII will be as follows: Andy Reid; the quarterbacks, and the Kelce brothers. TheKansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles have been one of the top teams in their respective conferences. The Eagles had a cake walk in the NFC Championship Game after Brock Purdy got hurt. The Chiefs had a battle to the end against the Cincinnati Bengals which some say was a controversial win, to say the least.
Andy Reid is the former head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles. He made Super Bowl XXXIX with the franchise and reached several NFC Championship Game appearances with Philadelphia. He gave the Eagles a decade of high-level consistency and results, one of the most prosperous periods in the franchise’s existence.
Reid will now coach against his former team in a Super Bowl, calling to mind Super Bowl XXXIII in January of 1999. That was when the Atlanta Falcons and head coach Dan Reeves went up against the team Reeves previously coached, the Denver Broncos. Reeves coached against the man he led into three different Super Bowls, quarterback John Elway.
The quarterbacks, Patrick Mahomes of the Chiefs and Jalen Hurts of the Eagles, will create the first Super Bowl between two Black quarterbacks.
Travis Kelce of the Chiefs and Jason Kelce of the Eagles will become the first brothers to play in the Super Bowl. One will win, the other will lose. The stories in this Super Bowl are amazing. BetAnySports and Lucky99 have all the odds, props and action, so let’s take a closer look at the matchup.

Game Analysis
The Chiefs played two close playoff games, beating Jacksonville by seven points and Cincinnati by three. The Eagles played two lopsided playoff games, beating the New York Giants by 31 points and the San Francisco 49ers by 24, allowing only seven points in both games.
These teams took two very different journeys to the big game, raising questions about how much – if at all – the difference in the quality of conferences will affect these teams when they play. The AFC was much stronger at the top than the NFC was. The Chiefs could be battle-tested in a way the Eagles aren’t, or they could be more mentally drained while the Eagles can truly gear up for one really challenging game. It will be fascinating to see how the dynamics work in this game.
One big concern for the Chiefs in their attempt to win a second Super Bowl in four seasons is that while they did take advantage of a banged up and generally undermanned Cincinnati offensive line in the AFC Championship Game, Philadelphia probably has the best offensive line in the NFL. The Chiefs’ ability to rush the passer and generally get a strong push up front will be significantly limited compared to what they were able to do against the Bengals.
The advantage for the Chiefs – if you can call it an advantage – is that they are facing Jalen Hurts and not Joe Burrow. Hurts has had a spectacular season, but Burrow is widely regarded as the better quarterback. If the Chiefs don’t get a tremendous pass rush, can Hurts roast them with downfield passes, or can the Chiefs limit chunk plays from the powerful Philadelphia offense?
Those are some important questions to follow and think about when betting on the game (beforehand or live) or simply enjoying the game as a football fan.
Super Bowl LVII Prop Bets
The natural Super Bowl prop bet a lot of people are interested in: Will the first score be a field goal or a touchdown? This is a Super Bowl in which a touchdown seems particularly appealing – not a lock, but more likely than other Super Bowls from the past.
These offenses are so potent and have many different weapons. One can imagine these teams hitting long passes for scores, but they can also run the ball (Philadelphia in particular) and they’re strong on third downs. That lends itself to a touchdown being the first score of Super Bowl LVII.
On a related note, if you think a lot of touchdowns will be scored in this game, that might affect other props for passing yards, receiving yards, the MVP winner, and so on.
