No. 3 Michigan Makes Move up College Basketball Line
The unbeaten Michigan Wolverines have climbed their way from No. 5 to No. 3 in the Associated Press polls, leading much of the country to speculate just how far they may be able to push their college basketball odds over the course of the season. There’s no guarantee they’ll top Indiana or Duke, but already ahead of Louisville and Kentucky in the polls, it’s not exactly impossible.

Led by the backcourt tandem of Tim Hardaway Jr. and Trey Burke, the Wolverines have done everything that’s been asked of them thus far in 2012-13. Although they haven’t quite shocked the NCAA betting community with an unexpected victory, they haven’t had to. Slowly but surely the historically inconsistent program is bolstering their odds of winning March Madness.
Having qualified for the NCAA Tournament in three of the past four seasons, Michigan has established itself as a bubble threat capable of causing damage if underestimated. Whether that translates to success with targets on their backs or not, however, remains to be seen.
