Raiders and Jaguars Battle In Week 7

NFL Week 7 will see the Oakland Raiders will try and get back to their winning ways this Sunday. The Raiders are a 1.5-point road underdog in NFL Week 7 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Game time from EverBank Field is set for 1 p.m. (ET). BetAnySports’ total line for this NFL Week 7 AFC clash iopened at 48.5, but has since dropped to 47.5

The 4-2 straight-up (3-3 against the spread) Raiders are currently tied with Denver for the lead in the AFC West, but they are coming off a disappointing 26-10 loss to Kansas City this past Sunday. This was just the second time this season that Oakland was held to fewer than 28 points.

He also had a late fourth-quarter fumble that helped to seal his team’s fate. The Raiders are still ranked eighth in the league in total yards per game (374.0). They are 10th in the NFL in scoring with an average of 25.3 points a game. Before NFL Week 7 they fall to 24th in the NFL in points allowed (27.2) and they are ranked dead last against the pass.

Jags’ Better Than Advertised

Jacksonville (2-3) has turned things around from an early 0-3 SU start. The Jags’ reeled off back-to-back victories against Indianapolis at home and Chicago on the road. They closed as a slight underdog in each contest. The Jaguars are 4-1 ATS on BetAnySports’ closing line. The total has gone OVER in three of the five games as well. It went OVER in their 30-27 win against the Colts in Week 4. The Jags have gone OVER in seven of their last 10 home games.

Blake Bortles returned to form his last two games. On the year he has thrown for 1,321 yards and eight touchdowns against seven interceptions. Jacksonville is 15th in the league in passing yards. But it falls to 31st when it comes to gaining yards on the ground. On the other side of the ball, this defense is ranked eighth in yards allowed (321.4). The Jags’ drops down to 24th when it comes to points allowed (25.4).
