Houston Looks to Play Spoiler Against Indianapolis Colts
The new-look Indianapolis Colts are just outside of the playoffs and are knocking on the door. The Houston Texans are looking to spoil their thunder when they meet this afternoon.

The Colts still have a chance to win the AFC South. They will gladly take a Wild Card berth, but the AFC South crown would be much better. The team can improve their chances with a win this Sunday over the Texans The Texas are a disappointing 4-9 on the season and ATS. Indianapolis is 9-4 SU and 8-5 ATS.
The Colts are tied with the Tennessee Titans heading into Week 15 action. The Titans lead the AFC South by virtue of their better division record. Indianapolis earned their ninth win last week when they destroyed the Las Vegas Raiders 44-27. They easily covered as 3-point road favorites. Philip Rivers led the way with two touchdown passes to TY Hilton. Jonathan Taylor added two more TDs and led the team by rushing for 150 yards.

Can Texans Pull of Upset Against the Colts
Houston’s 2020 campaign has been a train wreck after a lot of bad decisions in the offseason. It got worse last Sunday when they fell 36-7 to the struggling Chicago Bears. RB David Johnson had to miss that game after being placed on the COVID-19 list as a close contact.
They almost pulled the upset two weeks ago. DeShaun Watson passed for 341 yards and rushing for 38 yards and a touchdown. Watson led the Texans to the shadow of the goal posts in the waning moments of Indianapolis’ 26-20 victory.
The Colts sacked Watson five times and recorded the first interception against him since Week 5. They still almost came up short.
Even in the middle of their miserable season, Watson is excelling. He closed Week 14 second in passing yards to Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. He has racked up 3,761 so far and is fourth in passer rating at 109.4. Watson is also tied for ninth with 25 touchdown passes.
The Texans have struggled to protect Watson again this year. He has been sacked 39 times, third-most in the NFL. Their rushing attack is last in the league with 1,121 yards. Yet, despite those obstacles, Watson is a threat every time he takes the field.

They activated leading rusher David Johnson from the reserve/COVID-19 list but he did not practice Wednesday.
The team also placed two defensive starters on season-ending injured reserve. DT Brandon Dunn (pelvic fracture) and safety Justin Reid (torn thumb ligament).
The Colts
QB Philip Rivers (toe) did not practice Wednesday.
TE Mo Alie-Cox (knee) and OT Anthony Castonzo (knee) did practice either
