NFL Week 12 Preview
There are many good games to watch this weekend as many teams are looking to guarantee themselves a playoff spot, or fight their way into it. There are some games that are safer sports betting endeavors as some teams are playing others who are struggling. Here is a preview on the Buffalo Bills versus the Indianapolis Colts.
Andrew Luck has had a great rookie season as the Colts’ quarterback and have completely turned the team around from last year’s awful season. The Colts are sitting four games behind AFC South powerhouse Houston Texans, and will not win the division. However, they still have a chance to get a Wild Card game that could give them a playoff berth. The Colts are a superior passing team thanks to receivers like veteran Reggie Wayne who has 931 yards for three touchdowns. As a team, the Colts average 277 passing yards per game and should be able to throw over the Buffalo defense. Where the Colts struggle is on the ground. Their leading rusher, Donald Brown only has 361 yards for one touchdown this season, and as a team, they only average 109 per game.
The Bills have the advantage on the ground as long as backs C.J. Spiller and Fred Jackson can play the whole game without getting hurt. On the ground, the Bills average 140 yards per game, and that will be the best way Buffalo will be able to get some touchdowns.
Defensively the Bills do not fare much better against the Colts. The Colts’ defense may have struggles last week against the Patriots, but the Patriots are NOT the Bills. They should have no problems with Bill’s quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, and be able to hold them down to many three and out drives.
Buffalo needs a win in order to stay within the AFC East cluster. Currently the Bills are in third in a tie with the Jets and Dolphins. They are only two games behind division leading Patriots, but it is doubtful that they will catch them. Online betting sites are too doubtful that the Bills will make the playoffs. The Colts are in a similar scenario, with the best they will do is second place in their division thanks to the 9-1 Houston Texans. It is a must win in order to possibly get a Wild Card game, but it will be a tight finish, especially if they lose next Sunday. However, it is a safe bet that Indianapolis will not allow this win slip out of their grasp. Check out as many sports betting sites as you can early to get the best possible odds.
