NFL Preview: Baltimore Ravens vs. New England Patriots

Betting On The 2013 Nfl Playoffs       Early Line: Patriots -9 and the total is 51 1/2 It was another crazy week in the NFL divisional playoffs, as once again the Patriots proved that they are better than the Houston Texans. It was a one sided match up as from beginning to end Bill Belichick and company ran over one of the best defenses in the NFL. Now it is time for the conference championship. Baltimore Ravens The Ravens are coming off an upset win over the Denver Broncos in the Mile High City. Joe Flacco with the help of receivers Anquan Boldin and Torrey Smith were able to dissect the Broncos defense and take advantage of their speed. On defense Ray Lewis was able to make several clutch tackles and prove to everyone that he is a hall of famer linebacker. They will need to work on their defense in order to stop Tom Brady. If you want to win I would not bet against the New England Patriots. New England Patriots In spite of injuries to Rob Gronkowski and Danny Woodhead, the Patriot offense was unstoppable against the Houston Texans last week. Shane Verdeen and Wes Welker caught clutch passes; Verdeen scored three touchdowns of his own. Their defense was able to stop Arian Foster and not allow Matt Shaub to make hardly any completions. The Patriots are the best team in the NFL and will have their ultimate test in the Super Bowl. This game is at Gillette Stadium and to beat the Patriots at Gillette is almost impossible. Many sports books and online sports betting sites have the Patriots listed as the favorites and rightfully so. This season NFL betting has been a complicated business with so many close games. This post-season has been the highest scoring post-season in NFL history, so with this game expect another high school with Tom Brady throwing at least three touchdown passes.
