NFL Odds: Steelers, Titans Take Thursday Night Spotlight

Betting On Tennessee Titan Football

The Pittsburgh Steelers and Tennessee Titans could stand to use some good fortune on the NFL moneyline these days. This Thursday they’ll square off in a primetime tilt under the national spotlight. Only one can reap the benefits of a midweek momentum boost, so get odds for the matchup today.

Coming off of a Week 5 win over state rival Philadelphia, the Steelers have strung together a 2-2 record. It hasn’t been enough to push them into contention in the AFC North, but it’s a recoverable hole to be in. If Ben Roethlisberger and co. plan to improve their odds of winning the Super Bowl, however, they’ll have to start thinking postseason sooner than later.

For Tennessee, the NFL futures aren’t so kind. Winless since Week 3, the Titans will need to course correct fast if they plan on staying relevant in the AFC South. They’ll need a stronger showing from star running back Chris Johnson if they plan to have any lasting impression on NFL oddsmakers, not to mention a reliable primary quarterback.

With the world watching in the Thursday Night Football event, expect one of these clubs to do themselves a serious favor with a Week 6 victory. It will be far from season changing for either club, but each could benefit from a step in the right direction.
