Phoenix Suns Need to Put Away the LA Clippers
By Charles Jay
Those who have engaged in NBA playoff betting are aware that the Los Angeles Clippers have come back twice from 2-0 deficits to win a series. And they clearly looked like a team with spring in their step as they defeated the Phoenix Suns on Monday night.
That brought them to within a game, and now they can even up the series, at home, in Wednesday night’s game. That begins at 9:05 PM ET at the Staples Center.
The experience gets more enjoyable if you are signed up with BetAnySports and their newly-designed website, which not only keeps you busy with great exotic payouts and player props, but also live action through Ultimate Lines and Super Lines (and don’t forget about the live dealer casino either).
NBA Playoff Betting — An epic game from PG13
Do you remember when Paul George suffered his gruesome broken leg? Yeah, everyone seems to have forgotten about that by now, haven’t they? And it doesn’t much matter, not after his incredible effort in Monday night’s Game 6.
George only had eleven points at the half, but then he erupted for 30 in the final 24 minutes. In his 41-point masterpiece, he made 15 of 20 shots and added 15 rebounds.
Of course, George has to step up for the offense, since Kawhi Leonard has not been available.
NBA Playoff Betting – Will Kawhi be back?
The Clippers have been somewhat less than transparent about the knee injury Leonard suffered, which has kept him out of action going back to the last two games of L.A.’s series win against Utah.
And there have been rumors. One of them is that Kawhi has an ACL injury, which isn’t going to make him available for the rest of the season. Another is that he is unhappy with the Clippers’ medical people, which sounds an awful lot like the experience that led to his departure form San Antonio.
And what makes this significant is that Leonard has the opportunity to opt out of his contract and become an unrestricted free agent after this season.

NBA Playoff Betting — Zubac a question mark
Clippers center Ivica Zubac missed Game 5 with a knee sprain, and it is unknown as to whether he can line up for Game 6. Zubac has 19 of Los Angeles’ 44 offensive rebounds in the series. And without him, the Clips had only TWO offensive caroms on Monday night.
You would have thought this might have presented a real opportunity for Phoenix center DeAndre Ayton, who had 19 points and 22 rebounds WITH Zubac opposing him in Game 4. But Ayton got only nine shot attempts in the 116-102 Game 5 loss, and has stil shot only five free throws in this series.
NBA Playoff Betting — Patrick the Pest
We are fully convinced that if Patrick Beverley is on the floor, things are going to be generally uncomfortable for the Suns.
As a small (6-1) guard, Beverley can certainly cover Chris Paul, and he has done so in a most annoying way. He even committed a flagrant foul (which may not have been his fault), and mocked Paul afterward for taking a flop.
Beverley was also bothersome to Devin Booker, colliding with him and breaking his nose, and in the process he forced Booker to go 10-for-37 in the first two games. Booker is wearing a protective mask.
It is obviously pretty clear by now that coach Tyronn Lue, who was kind of silly in virtually ignoring Beverley for a period of seven games during these playoffs, has decided he needs to win this series on defense. Beverley has started four of the five games. The only game in which Phoenix scored more than 104 points was the one where he played only 15 minutes.
With or without Zubac available, this looks like an UNDER.
