Mountaineers Look to Rebound

The TCU Horned Frogs and the West Virginia Mountaineers will both be trying to pick up a win on Monday when they battle at WVU Colliseum. Tip-off is set for 9 pm EST and ESPN2 has the telecast. Oddsmakers opened the Mountaineers as -6-point favorites versus the Horned Frogs, while the game’s total opened at 161. West Virginia is now an 8-point favorite and the total has dropped to 154.5. West Virginia was a 88-85 loser in their most recent outing at home against the Oklahoma State Cowboys. They failed to cover the -12.5-point spread as favorites. The Mountaineers’ defense unraveled during the 88-85 loss. They allowed 16 points over the final 2:50. That must be shored up as they prepare to face the conference’s most efficient offensive team. That squandered a career-high 33-point performance by Jevon Carter. He is the team’s top offensive player at 17.2 points and 6.7 assists per game. TCU Need a Big Road Win Over Mountaineers
