Minnesota Vikings Look to Bounce Back in Week 8

The Minnesota Vikings and the Chicago Bears square off on Monday Night Football in Week 8 of the NFL Season.  Kickoff is set for 8:30 pm EST on ESPN.

Oddsmakers currently have the Minnesota Vikings listed as 6-point favorites versus the Bears. The game’s total is sitting at 40.

In their last action, Chicago was a 26-10 loser on the road against the Green Bay Packers. They failed to cover the +7.5-point spread as underdogs, while the combined score (36) was profitable news for UNDER bettors. Jay Cutler returns to action for the first time in six games. Cutler has been sidelined since Week 2, when he sprained ligaments in his right thumb. Brian Hoyer, who broke his left arm last week against Green Bay, has been placed on injured reserve.

Last time out for the Minnesota Vikings, they were a 21-10 loser to the Philadelphia Eagles on the road. The Vikings failed to cover in the game as a -3-point favorite, while 31 combined points moved the game UNDER for totals bettors.

The Vikings are the road favorites against the struggling Bears. The Bears have dropped three consecutive games and are tied for the second-worst record in the NFL. Minnesota has won three consecutive games against Chicago and five of the past seven meetings.
