Dodgers Trying to Keep Pace in NL West

The Los Angeles Dodgers are in the heat of the National League playoff battle, while the New York Mets are trying to make up ground. The Dodgers host the Mets on Wednesday in Los Angeles in the third of a four-game set.

The Mets are slated to go with Steven Matz (1-1, 3.21 ERA), who allowed four runs, including three homers, on eight hits over seven innings of work in a 7-2 home loss to Washington.
