The Baltimore Orioles are off to another hot start in the American League East. They’ll be tested this week for sure. The O’s take on the Boston Red Sox in a four-game series at Fenway Park. The finale is Thursday night at 7:10 PM ET on NESN and the MLB Network.
Tyler Wilson is starting for Baltimore in place of Ubaldo Jimenez. Showalter had planned to start Ubaldo Jimenez. The right-hander was forced into action when Wednesday’s starter, Kevin Gausman, was tossed for plunking Boston’s Xander Bogaerts.
Wilson is 1-1 with a 2.61 ERA in five prior outings (two starts) against the Red Sox. He will face the Red Sox Kyle Kendrick, who is taking injured Steven Wright’s place.
