Martin Zamani’s win at the PGT Event #10 earned him the title of 2023 US Poker Open Champ. He was the big winner of the recent US Poker Open Event, that attracted 37 participants. Thus, the prize pool ballooned to almost $2 million.
Zamani secured the top prize of $666,000 after eliminating the other players. Aside from the jackpot prize, he earned the Golden Eagle trophy. According to SportsBettingSolutionAsia.com sources, the win improved his standing on the Leaderboard to 570 points. He overtook the previous leader, Ren Lin.
During the 2023 US Poker Open, Zamani won four events. In addition, he earned a $50,000 bonus that comes with the Golden Eagle championship trophy.

Pay per head bookie information suggests that Chris Brewer was the tournament’s first player eliminated. However, he brought home a cash prize of $92,500. Dan Smith was the third poker pro to be eliminated from the tournament, finishing in fifth place and winning $148,000.
According to sports handicapping experts, poker veteran and three-time Super High Roller Bowl champion Justin Bonomo took up $203,500 after finishing fourth place at Event #10. Jeremy Ausmus ranked third in Event #10 and won $296,000.
Zamani and Nick Petrangelo battled it out in a heads-up match. Also, his lead in chips doubled from the beginning to the end of the game. Both players had two pairs on the last hand.
After Petrangelo declared an all-in with a queen-ten, Zamani called with a king-six. Zamani’s top pair was better than Petrangelo’s, and he won the hand and the pot, eliminating Petrangelo and sending him home with $444,000.
