Kentucky Derby: Underdogs Paying Out Big

149Th Kentucky Derby From Churchill Downs

149th Kentucky Derby, Kentucky Derby $10K Contest, NBA Playoffs and UFC 288

Underdogs have been a money maker at the Kentucky Derby in recent years. Could this year continue the trend? This looks like one of the most intriguing Derby’s in a while.

The Kentucky Derby has been won by an underdog in 4 straight years. Last year Rich Strike won the Derby at 80/1 odds, the biggest underdog win in Derby history.  Reincarnate (50-1) is a big underdog attracting betting interest in today’s Derby. He’ll have an experienced jockey in John Velazquez, who’s won the Derby three times in his career.

Forte is currently the odds-on-favorite to win the Kentucky Derby, set at 3-1 odds. Tapit Price (5-1) and Angel of Empire (8-1) round out the rest of the top-3. Head over to the Racebook to lock in your bets on the 149th Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs.

Bettors Big on Cejudo

After opening as the underdog, heavy betting action has made Henry Cejudo the favorite heading into the UFC 288 main event against Aljamain Sterling.

Cejudo is currently set at -118 odds to win, after initially opening as a +130 underdog in the fight. He’s coming off a nearly three-year long layoff, but that hasn’t stopped bettors from backing him.  Hit the link below to view our massive selection of odds and props on UFC 288.
