Green Bay Packers Look to Get on Track Against Bears

Betting On Green Bay Football

Banged Up Packers Take on the Bears

The Chicago Bears and the Green Bay Packers meet on Thursday night at Lambeua Field. The game will be televised by CBS and the NFL Network with kickoff set for 8:25 EST.

Oddsmakers currently have the Packers listed as 8½-point favorites versus the Bears, while the game’s total is sitting at 46½.

The Green Bay Packers were a 30-16 loser in their most recent outing at home against the Dallas Cowboys. They failed to cover the -5.5-point spread as favorites, while the total score (46) made winners of UNDER bettors.  The Packers are trying to get QB Aaron Rodgers out of his funk.  He has not been himself and turnover prone so far this season. Rodgers, who owns the NFL’s best career passer rating and ranks among the all-time best in completion percentage and yards per attempt, ranks 20th, 26th and 26th, respectively, in those categories.

In their last action, Chicago was a 17-16 loser at home against the Jacksonville Jaguars. They failed to cover the -2.5-point spread as favorites, while the combined score (33) was profitable news for UNDER bettors. The Packers probably will be without their three top cornerbacks. The D will be under siege from Brian Hoyer, who is the first quarterback in Bears history to have four consecutive 300-yard passing games.
