Our “Winter is Coming”…and so is our GAME OF POKER THRONES II promotion!
As the temperature starts to drop, we’re giving you more reasons to stay rugged up and safe from the elements, with the G.O.P.T. II promotion returning for a second run, set to kick off on Tuesday, September 1st, 2015.
Again, we’ve thrown all the excitement of the dynastic struggles and battles inspired by its namesake smash-hit TV series into the mix, with a G.O.P.T-styled series of STEP TOURNAMENTS running up until the end of the year, all leading to the ultimate challenge, the Quest for the G.O.P.T. $100K GTD in January, 2016.
Stay strong and focused as you fight your way through your choice of three treacherous roads under the royal banner of the three distinct noble HO– USES – STARK, TARGARYEN, and LANNISTER – each with a different level of risk attached, and a total of nine battles in which to flex your poker skills and conquer the competition.
The G.O.P.T. throws up three treacherous ‘Roads’, plus one super easy one, under the royal banner of four different noble Houses; each comes with varying levels of risk attached, and there’s a total of nine battles in which to flex your poker skills, and conquer the competition.
Three of the roads offer three separate Satellite Steps each on the trek to the ‘holy grail’ of the promotion, the Game of Poker Thrones $100K GTD FINAL BATTLE!
House 1 – The Starks – 10-Player Satellites
This is considered the most budget-friendly way to earn a ‘GOPT TREASURE’, which can be used as entry into the GOPT II $100K GTD:
STEP 1:Battle of the Whispering Wood (Buy-in $2.00 or 2 GOPT TREASURE)
- 1st and 2nd places earn 6 GOPT TREASURE (Entry to Step 2)
- 3rd and 4th places earn 2 GOPT TREASURE (ReEntry to Step 1)
STEP 2: Battle Fall of Winterfell (Buy-in $6 or 6 GOPT TREASURE)
- 1st and 2nd places earn 25 GOPT TREASURE (Entry to Step 3)
- 3rd place gets 6 GOPT TREASURE (Re-Entry to Step 2)
STEP 3: Red Wedding (Buy-in $25 or 25 GOPT TREASURE)
- 1st place earns 120 GOPT TREASURE (Entry to $100K Main Event)
- 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th place get Step 25 GOPT TREASURE (Re-Entry to Step 3)
House 2 The Targaryens 6-Player Satellites
These have a slightly different prize structure, awarding fewer GOPT TREASURE and less Satellite Rebuys, making it slightly more of a challenge, however this route is played as 6max Satellites:
STEP 1: Battle of Astapor (Buy-in $2 or 2 GOPT TREASURE)
- 1st Place earns 6 GOPT TREASURE (Entry to Step 2)
- 2nd and 3rd Place earns 2 GOPT TREASURE (Re-Entry to Step 1)
STEP 2:Battle of Yunkai (Buy-in $6 or 6 GOPT TREASURE)
- 1st Place earns 25 GOPT TREASURE (Entry to Step 3)
- 2nd Place earns 6 GOPT TREASURE (Re-Entry to Step 2)
STEP 3: Sack of Meereen (Buy-in $25 or 25 GOPT TREASURE)
- 1st place earns 120 GOPT TREASURE (Entry to $100K Main Event)
House 3 – The Lannisters – Heads Up Satellites
While this is the toughest path to choose, facing ‘the enemy’ in a head-to-head crusade will be great preparation for the obstacles and adversities that players may encounter in the ultimate clash, the GOPT $100K GTD Main Event:
STEP 1: Battle of Blackwater (Buy-in $25 or 25 GOPT TREASURE)
- 1st place earns 45 GOPT TREASURE (Entry to Step 2 Purple Wedding)
STEP 2: Purple Wedding (Buy-in $45 or 45 GOPT TREASURE)
- 1st place earns 80 GOPT TREASURE (Entry to Step 3 Battle of the Red Viper)
- 2nd place gets 6 GOPT TREASURE (Entry to Targaryen or Starks Step 2)
STEP 3: Battle of the Red Viper versus the Mountain (Buy-in $80 or 80 GOPT TREASURE)
- 1st place earns 120 GOPT TREASURE (Entry to $100K Main Event)
- 2nd place earns 25 GOPT TREASURE (Re-Entry to Step 1 Battle of Blackwater or one of the other house’s Step 3’s – Sack of Meereen, or Red Wedding)
House 4 – The Baratheons – Direct Buy-in to the G.O.P.T. $100K GTD
This is quite obviously ‘easy street’, and it will appeal to those who want to jump straight to the Main Event with a direct Buy-in:
- Buy-in to the MAIN $100K Event for $120+$12.00
Players can also skip Steps within a specific House, and they can even switch Houses along the way.
So warriors, choose your ‘House’ and your ‘Battles’ wisely, and you could be well on your way to a starring role in the ultimate Full Flush challenge, our Quest for the GOPT II $100K GTD on January 3rd.

Terms & Conditions
Promotions are created as an extra offer to reward new and existing players within the Equity Poker Network (EPN). EPN encourages players to participate in promotions but also has the responsibility of refraining players from abusing them. Any promotion abuse that comes to the attention of EPN may result in the cancellation of that promotion and/or future promotions for that particular player or party. Our definition of abuse by a player includes but is not limited to the use of promotional offers without the player ever risking their own funds, meaning the use of questionable funds in our promotions could carry negative consequences.
- The $100K GOPT main event tournament buy-in will be $120 or 120 GOPT Treasure
- Players are only allowed one active account. The name on a player’s EPN account must match the name on their payment method(s) used to make the deposit or the bonus will be void.
- GOPT Treasure are a special GOPT currency that can be used to buy in to various steps.
- GOPT Treasure have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for real money.
- EPN reserves the right to limit the number of times a player may participate in a promotion. Identity of participants will be determined on the basis of all or any combination of the following: name, mailing address, email address, credit/charge/debit card number, and any other forms of identification which may be required. Where multiple-participation is permitted, EPN reserves the right to limit the number of bonuses earned by any participant.
- By participating in the Event you grant EPN the right to use your name and likeness for promotional purposes without further compensation.
- EPN may, in its sole discretion, limit the eligibility of players or any one player to participate in promotions, and to restrict the eligibility of any group or category of players to participate in promotions.
- EPN reserves the right to modify, alter, discontinue or terminate a promotion at any time for any reason whatsoever, without further notice. However, EPN will use reasonable efforts to provide advance notice to the players of any such modification, alteration, discontinuance or termination.
- EPN shall not be liable for any damages whatsoever arising as a result of any modification, alteration, discontinuance or termination of any promotion, and any liability of the sort shall be borne solely, and exclusively by the end user.
- EPN reserves the right to review transaction records and logs from time to time for any reason whatsoever. If upon such review it appears that a player is participating in strategies which EPN, in its sole discretion, deem to be abusive, the Company reserves the right to revoke the entitlement of such players to the promotion.
