PGA Tour Dates For the Majors 2020

Well, no one saw anything like this coming, not even the PGA Tour. The spread of this coronavirus has put a halt on pretty much anything, not only sports related. A global shutdown along with a stay home advisory has been in place and looks to be relaxed soon in some places.

The sports world has had many sports having to reschedule their entire season to accommodate. With some confirmation from the PGA Tour, we have an updated look on events that you will want to keep an eye on.

PGA Tour Events To Look Out For

The PGA has been able to revamp their schedule in hopes of making it as smooth as possible. Some events were pushed way back while others were moved to next year. The top three to look out for are:

The Masters

The U.S Open

PGA Tour

The Masters

The Masters was previously scheduled for April 6-12.

We now have a tentative date of November 9-15, 2020. The odds have stayed close to what they were before this virus hit.

The top five golfers projected to win are:

Rory McIlroy          13/2

Jon Rahm               12/1

Tiger Woods            14/1

Justin Thomas         14/1

Brooks Koepka         16/1

*odds subject to changes

Based off of Mcllroy’s hot streak from last year going into this, I believe that he would be able to take home the green jacket. If Koepka can get his things together will all the time off he has had, along with recovery from his injuries, then he makes a solid case as well.

The U.S. Open

The U.S. Open was previously scheduled for June 15-21 at Winged Foot Golf Club in Mamaroneck, New York. Now, it has been officially rescheduled for September 14-20 and is confident at Winged Foot.

The odds for the U.S open have not dramatically changed since as of later. The top five with the best changes are:

Rory Mcllroy  +800

Dustin Johnson +1200

Brooks Koepka +1400

Jon Rahm         +1400

Justin Thomas   +1800

*odds subject to changes

Dustin Johnson looks to be a contender for this one. His level of play just keeps improving every single year. He is one to keep your eye on, as well as Jon Rahm.

PGA Tour

The regular season finale, which is the Wyndham Championship, and all three FedExCup Playoffs events one week later, will be starting the week of August 10 and concluding with a Monday, September 7, Labor Day.

The odds for this event changed a lot since the event is being mashed together with other PGA events in order to cover ground. If these golfers are eligible to play, then these are the top five most appealing to me to win are:

Rory Mcllroy

Brooks Koepka

Dustin Johnson

Tiger Woods

Jon Rahm

Although no updates on the odds for the events listed, if Rory Mcllroy or Jon Rahm were able to pick back up and have a hot streak again, then either one of them will be taking home a victory. Especially Mcllroy with his landslide security of taking back his number one spot ever since Brooks Koepka has not been himself.
