Detroit Pistons Basketball

Bulls Look to Hold 2nd Place in Central

The Chicago Bulls and the Detroit Pistons will meet on the court at The Palace of Auburn Hills on Tuesday in a battle of division rivals. The NBA Central is a crowded logjam of teams behing the Cleveland Cavaliers.  The Bulls look to hold onto 2nd place tonight against the feisty Detroit Pistons.

Oddsmakers currently have the Detroit Pistons listed as 6-point favorites versus the Chicago Bulls, while the game’s total is sitting at 201.

In their last action the Detroit Pistons were a 98-92 loser at home against the Orlando Magic. They failed to cover the -7.5-point spread as favorites. The combined score (190) was profitable news for UNDER bettors.  Reggie Jackson posted 18 points and four assists in 23 minutes after missing the team’s first 21 games with left knee tendinitis. That didn’t prevent the Detroit Pistons from seeing their three-game winning streak snapped.

In their last action the Chicago Bulls were a 112-110 loser at home against the Portland Trail Blazers. They failed to cover the -3.5-point spread as favorites. The combined score (222) was profitable news for OVER bettors. Rajon Rondo served his seventh suspension since 2012. He apologized for his actions and coach Fred Hoiberg said there are no hard feelings. Swingman Jimmy Butler said Rondo has been a positive influence since he was signed last offseason.
