Oklahoma City Thunder prized rookie Chet Holmgren will be out of the upcoming season due to a foot injury. He was the second overall pick in the recent draft. However, he was diagnosed with a Lisfranc injury. It affected the area between the forefoot and midsole of his right foot.
According to bookie pay per head sources, Holmgren injured his foot last Saturday during a pro-am match in Seattle. Aside from the rookie, other NBA stars who played in the game include Jayson Tatum, LeBron James, and the number one draft pick Paolo Banchero.

Thunder GM Sam Presti said the team is disappointed for Chet. But, he added that Chet would have a long career with the team. Also, he knows that Chet has the focus and determination to get back into the active roster.

In a game against Utah, Holmgren impressed fans by scoring 23 points. Also, he shot four out of six from the three-point area. The rookie added four assists and seven rebounds. In addition, he got six blocks, which was the most blocks in a Summer League game in history.
