Important COVID-19 Update:
If a team withdraws from the tournament prior to Friday, March 19th, that team will be removed from the bracket and the selected replacement team will be inserted. If you wish to change your selections, you may do so at any time prior to the bracket submission deadline at 12:30 pm ET on Friday, March 19th, 2021.
Once the NCAA tournament begins, in the unlikely case that there are forfeits, the team that forfeits will be graded as a loss.
All bracket sales are final. In the event that tournament games are affected by COVID-19, there will be no refunds as long as the Championship Game is played.
General Rules
- The $100,000 Bracket Madness Contest opens for pre-purchase of entries on Monday, February 1st, 2021 and closes on Friday, March 19th, 2021 at 12:15 pm ET. All entries purchased after this point will be considered void and will not be eligible for any of the prizes.
- The bracket officially opens for selections on Sunday, March 14th, 2021 at 9:00 pm ET and closes on Friday, March 19th, 2021 at 12:30 pm ET.
- The Contest begins with the First Round of the 2021 Men’s NCAA Basketball Tournament on Friday, March 19th, 2021.
- Once you submit your selections, you can change your picks at any time until the bracket submission deadline at 12:30 pm ET on Friday, March 19th, 2021.
- If your bracket is not completed or fully filled out by 12:30 pm ET on Friday, March 19th, 2021 your entry will be void and eliminated from the contest.
- Round Dates: First Round (March 19th-20th), Second Round (March 21st-22nd) Sweet 16 (March 27th-28th), Elite 8 (March 29th & 30th), Final Four (April 3rd) and Championship (April 5th).
- Only fully completed brackets qualify for the contest prizes.
- Entries are available only for purchase online and cannot be purchased by phone or live chat.
- House rules and regulations apply.
- We reserve the right to amend the contest, prizes and terms at any time.
- Winners will be notified by Email and posted on a Leaderboard. It is the sole responsibility of the entrant to keep their account information up-to-date and accurate.

Purchasing Entries
- For a limited time, from Monday, February 1st, 2021 to Monday February 15th, 2021, entries into the $100,000 Bracket Madness Contest cost just $10 per bracket.
- After the limited-time promotion ends, each entry into the contest costs $15 per bracket.
- You may purchase up to 20 entries.
- Entries may only be purchased with real cash funds.
- Entry fees will be deducted directly from your BetOnline account balance.
- All purchases are final. Make sure that you click on the Purchase button and double check all your info before confirming your purchase.
- If the 2021 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament is cancelled, entry fees will be refunded to player accounts.
How to Play
- Participants must purchase at least one entry to participate in the $100,000 Bracket Madness Contest.
- After purchasing entries, players can view and edit their entries in the ‘My Brackets’ section.
- Participants must pick the winners of all 63 games in the 2021 NCAA Division 1 Men’s Basketball Tournament, beginning with the First Round.
- Points will be awarded for each correct pick.
- Once a bracket has been submitted, it is final. Picks cannot be changed once the bracket has been submitted.
Point System
- 1 point for every correct selection in the 1st Round
- 2 points for every correct selection in the 2nd Round
- 4 points for every correct selection in the Sweet 16
- 8 points for every correct selection in the Elite 8
- 16 points for every correct selection in the Final Four
- 32 points for picking the winner of the Championship Game
$100,000 Guaranteed Prize Pool
- The Top 300 will win a piece of the $100,000 prize pool; the payout breakdown is as follows:

- In the event that the tie-breaker is necessary, participants will be ranked based on having the closest answer to the Total Points Scored in the Championship Game.
- If various participants remain in a tie after the tie-breaker, the winnings will be split along with the next lowest prize. Example: If two contestants tie for first with 160 points, they will split the 1st and 2nd Place prizes; the participant with the next highest point total will win the 3rd Place prize.
- Winnings are awarded as cash with no rollover requirements.
- Winnings will be deposited into our players account within 72 hours after the completion of the 2021 NCAA Men’s Championship Basketball game taking place on Monday, April 5th, 2021.
- Winnings are non-transferable.
