BetAnySports’ Pick of the Day on NBA TV

Indiana Pacers vs. Oklahoma City Thunder

The Indiana Pacers will travel to Chesapeake Energy Arena this Tuesday night to tangle with

the surging Oklahoma City Thunder in an 8 p.m. (ET) tip on NBA TV. BetAnySports has listed

the Pacers as 5.5-point underdogs and the betting odds for the total have been set at 204.

Indiana brings a straight-up three-game winning streak into this matchup and it has gone a

profitable 6-1 against the spread in its last seven contests. The total stayed UNDER the 204-

point closing line in this past Sunday’s 104-98 victory against Golden State as four-point road

underdogs after going OVER in five of the Pacers’ previous six games.

Rodney Stuckey came off the bench to score a team-high 30 points in the victory over the

Warriors to match his scoring total in last Friday’s 106-95 win against Philadelphia in which

Indiana closed as an 8.5-point road favorite. The Pacers have now exceeded the century mark

in six of their last seven games as opposed to a season scoring average of just 96.2 points per

game. They are still one of the best defensive teams in the league when it comes to points

allowed (97.2).

The Thunder are once again without their top player Kevin Durant after he needed minor

surgery to treat a foot injury, but this has not slowed them down in their current six-game

winning streak both SU and ATS. They are now in eighth place in the Western Conference

standings at 31-25 SU. Oklahoma City has been especially good at home this season with a SU

record of 18-8 while going 16-9-1 ATS. The total has gone OVER in six of its last eight games.

In Durant’s absence, the Thunder’s Russell Westbrook has helped fill the void with 33 points in

Saturday’s 110-103 win against Charlotte as four-point road favorites and 21 points in this past

Sunday’s 119-94 victory over Denver as 8.5-point favorites at home. Oklahoma City is

averaging 101.2 PPG and defensively it is holding teams to 98.6 PPG.

I like the Thunders’ chances to extend their winning streak to seven this Tuesday night at home,

but given the way Indiana has been putting up points lately, I am going with the OVER 204 on

BetAnySports total line betting odds as my top play in this matchup.
