BetAnySports’ NFL Pick of the Week- Week 11
Buffalo Bills vs. Miami Dolphins – Thursday, Nov. 13
Two teams coming off tough losses last week will get Week 11 in the NFL started this Thursday night when the Buffalo Bills go on the road to face the AFC East rival Miami Dolphins. Game time is set for 8:25 p.m. and BetAnySports has listed Miami as a five-point home favorite with the total set at 42.
The Bills could not protect a 10-point fourth-quarter lead against Kansas City in a 17-13 loss as two-point home favorites. The loss dropped them to 5-4 straight-up on the year with a 4-5 record against the spread. The total has now stayed UNDER in seven of nine games this season. While you might want to pin this loss on Buffalo’s defense, Kyle Orton and the offense also did nothing to help the cause over the final 15 minutes of this game.
Overall, the Bills are ranked 23rd in the NFL in both average yards (331.0) and points per game (21.2). They have struggled equally at both passing and running the ball and with the exception of a 43-point explosion against the Jets in Week 9, this offense has not scored more than 22 points in its previous seven games.
Miami also blew a late lead in this past Sunday’s 20-16 loss to Detroit as a three-point underdog on the road. The loss dropped its overall record on the year to 5-4 both SU and ATS. The total stayed UNDER the 43-point closing line and it has now stayed UNDER in the Dolphins’ last four games.
Third-year quarterback Ryan Tannehill has shown signs of becoming a legitimate franchise quarterback in this league, but Miami’s offense, as a whole, is still ranked 20th in the league in passing with an average of 222.9 yards a game. The ground game has been far more productive with 127.6 yards a game and the Dolphins are ranked 11th in the NFL in scoring with 25.2 points a game.
Buffalo struck first blood this season with a 29-10 victory in Week 2 as a 1.5-point home favorite and I am expecting Miami to return the favor with a SU victory this Sunday on its home field by more than the 2.5 point spread on BetAnySports’ current NFL betting odds. The Dolphins are 4-2 ATS in their last six home games against the Bills.
