BetAnySports’ NBA Finals Pick of the Week for NBA Finals Game 6
NBA Finals Game 6- Golden State Warriors vs. Cleveland Cavaliers
Current BAS’ Line: Golden State -4 and the total is sitting at 194
This season’s NBA Finals continue this Tuesday night with Game 6 of a best-of-seven clash between the Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers. BetAnySports has listed the Warriors as 4-point road favorites to close this series out and the betting odds for the total have been set at 194 for the third-straight time.
Golden State found itself in a 2-1 hole against Memphis in the Western Conference Semifinals before reeling-off three victories both straight-up and against the spread to advance to the conference finals. This time around it will try and do the same thing after losing two of its first three games against the Cavaliers both SU and ATS. The Warriors made it two in a row with Sunday’s 104-91 win in Game 5 as 9.5-point home favorites after beating Cleveland 103-82 in Game 4 as four-point favorites on the road. The total has now stayed UNDER in three of the last four games in this series.
Stephen Curry was the NBA’s best player in the regular season and in the second half of Game 5 he showed everybody why. He ended the night with a team-high 37 points while going 13-for-23 from the field and 7-for-13 from three-point range. The win was a total team effort with four of five starters scoring in double figures and Leandro Barbosa adding another 13 points off the bench. It was the third game in this series where Golden State surpassed the century mark on the scoreboard.
Curry may be the league MVP this season, but LeBron James has put forth an effort for the ages in this series. He posted his second triple-double in Sunday’s loss with 40 points, 14 rebounds and 11 assists and he has now scored 39 points or more in four of his first five games against Golden State. Unfortunately, the lack of depth on a team that is already missing Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving is starting to take its toll. Cleveland had enough gas to trail by just one point at the half of Game 5, but by the time the final buzzer sounded it was running on fumes.
It is hard to say what the Cavaliers will have left in the tank to try and take this series the distance, but I would not bet against James pulling out all the stops to get his team one more win. My best bet in this one is the UNDER on BetAnySports’ 195-point total line odds to stay true to the current trends in this matchup.
