Poker Bots are being Tackled Head on at Americas Cardroom
Poker Bots have been a big problem for online poker sites for a while now and Americas Cardroom is tackling the issue head-on. Many sites try to downplay the issue or pretend that it’s not an issue at all, but Americas Cardroom and its sister sites on the WPN Network are doing it above the fray.
But one site is not only admitting that there is a problem but is making major progress in the fight against BOTS. It’s US-facing Americas Cardroom (ACR).
Recently, online BOT provider War Bot took ACR off their list of supported sites, and Shanky technologies (BonusBots.com) and Kraken, Medusa (PokerBots.com) have reported that their BOTS are not currently working on ACR.
Like we said above, Americas Cardroom has never hidden from the BOT issue. They have banned 12 players for using BOTS and refunded over $450,000 to their affected customers.

Americas Cardroom Wants to to do More
In order to alleviate the BOT problem, Americas Cardroom took two very important steps. They first bolstered the size of both their BOT team and Customer Assessment Team. They then did a software upgrade that has many benefits, including dealing with BOTS.
The software upgrade forces BOT companies to constantly adapt their software to work properly on ACR. Most BOT companies simply decide to move onto the next potential victim. There’s also a new Google Captcha service in the ACR poker client which sniffs out BOTS.
Americas Cardroom’s fight against bots is just some of their big recent news. Beginning Wednesday, November 27th is their $6 Million GTD Venom tourney. This is four months after their $5 Million Venom that finished with a $6,382,500 prize pool. The winner got over $1,050,000.
Buy your Venom seat directly for $2,650 and try to become the next millionaire. Or punch your ticker for far less via satellite or even for free through step tourneys.
