2016 AL Wildcard: Blue Jays host the Orioles

2016 Mlb Fall Classic

Jays Host the Orioles in AL Wildcard Game

The fans at Rogers Centre will see the Baltimore Orioles and the Toronto Blue Jays battle in the AL Wildcard game on Tuesday night. Both teams will try to earn the right to face the Texas Rangers in one side of the ALDS.  The teams met 19 times during the regular season with Toronto winning 10 of them.

Chris Tillman will be the starting pitcher for the Orioles on this day. Right hander Tillman is 16-6 this season with a 3.77 ERA.

It’ll be Marcus Stroman toeing the rubber for the Blue Jays in this contest. Right hander Stroman is 9-10 with a 4.37 ERA so far this season.

Oddsmakers currently have the Blue Jays listed as 140-moneyline favorites versus the Orioles, while the game’s total is sitting at 8½.

Last time out for Toronto, they were a 2-1 winner as they battled the Boston Red Sox on the road. Moneyline bettors who got the Blue Jays at 107 were rewarded, while the 3 combined runs moved the game UNDER for totals bettors.

In their last action, Baltimore was a 5-2 winner on the road against the Yankees. Bettors on Baltimore at -142 on the moneyline collected their winnings from that game, while the total score (7) sent UNDER bettors home happy as well.
