Week Preview: NFL Week Six

Betting On Nfl Football       Another week in the NFL is over, and some teams were able to break their losing and winning streaks. We finally saw the Cardinals lose their first game, while the Saints finally got their first win of the year. Here is a brief preview of week six, and what we can expect in order to make NFL betting a more successful endeavor. New York Giants vs. San Francisco 49ers Both teams are currently in second place in their respective divisions. It will be a game of back and forth offense and the 49ers defense tries to handle the Giants offense led by Eli Manning and Victor Cruz. Both teams have been averaging over 400 yards per game, and last week was a blow out win for both as well so this week has the potential to be a high scoring affair. The San Francisco defense has been great this year only allowing 13 points per game on average. Offensively the 49ers running game has been awesome as Frank Gore leads the team in rushing with 432 yards for four touchdowns. Michael Crabtree had a great game last week and is leading the team in receiving with 311 yards. Where San Francisco can win the game is on the ground. They are averaging 195.8 yards per game, while the Giants have a struggling running game only tallying 120 yards per game. Where the Giants lack in Running they make up for in passing. Victor Cruz has been a terror for defenses as so far this year he has 438 passing yards for five touch downs. The Giants are able to average 309 passing yards per game, while Alex Smith for the 49ers has only managed 205.4 on average. Where the 49ers will work the ground, the Giants will play in the air, so this game should be a fun one to bet on. The defending Super Bowl Champion Giants will probably take this one according to many betting websites. New England Patriots vs. Seattle Seahawks What may look like an easy bet on paper may be more complicated in real life. Although the Patriots should have this game in the bag, do not count out the Seahawks. Sports betting can be tricky but picking the Patriots could be a safe choice. The Patriots struggled for the first half of the season, but they may be finally finding their rhythm after two great games against Buffalo and Denver. They are averaging over 274 passing yards and 165 rushing yards, significantly more than the Seahawks. Tom Brady has finally found a rusher in Stevan Ridley and Wes Welker has been leading the wide receivers as he should. However, it is the Patriots defense, or lack thereof, that could make this game closer than initially thought. The Patriots defense will have to stop one of the best backs in the league, Marshawn Lynch. They will also try and contain Sidney rice, which should be a little easier as Rice only has 199 yards for one touchdown this season. Lynch will be a menace for the Patriots as he has already tallied up 508 yards for two touch downs. This game could go two ways, be a blowout for the Pats, or look for an upset. However, keep in mind it is very hard to win in Gillette Stadium if you are not the Patriots. Read more here for the latest news on week six in the NFL. New Parlay Odds At Betonline
