Buffalo Bills Need a Win on the Road
This NFL season keeps getting weirder and weirder as the weeks go by, as we have the Buffalo Bills playing against home team, San Francisco 49ers, except the game is going to be held in the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
Online bets wont take a hit as the game will continue to be played, just under different circumstances, but hey, not that surprising in this pandemic filled season. Let us explain a bit more ahead.
TIME: 8:15 p.m. ET. TV: ABC/ESPN; WAGER6 BETTING LINE: 49ers -2.0 / TOTAL 47.5*
The reason the game will not be played in San Francisco is because officials in Santa Clara County put a ban on sports (contact sports) in the area, this entails that the stadium will not be able to host the game as it must respect the official ban placed.
Why did this ban occur? It’s an effort to slow down the recent elevated numbers from the pandemic, with the hopes of toning down the spread of the virus. It looks like this might affect the 49ers for at least two home games.

The 49ers need to keep their streak Going
The 49ers have beaten the Los Angeles Rams twice this season, with the last one coming last week. The game ended 23-20, and went right to the buzzer as it helped the 49ers get to a 5-6 record. Before that game they were carrying a 3 game losing streak, so this past victory is very welcomed by the team and their fans.
Now they face the 8-3 Bills, who are coming off a win over the Los Angeles Chargers. If the 49ers are able to get another win, they’ll manage to get to a .500 win percentage for the season and look to get out of the bottom of their NFC West division.
For this game, they’ll have Richard Sherman back in the lineup, which should give them a solid boost in their defense. Nick Mullens, their quarterback backup in place of their injured starting man, still needs to step up his game as he has thrown for 6 TD’s but also given away 7 interceptions. Mullens will continue to rely on Brandon Aiyuk and Kendrick Bourne as his primary targets for this upcoming match, but they’ll need to also focus on getting yards through the ground with Raheem Mostert as well.
Buffalo Bills need a win to stave off the Miami Dolphins in the division
As well as Buffalo is playing this season, they still have the Miami Dolphins right on their tail in the AFC East division. The Bills are a solid 8-3 and the Dolphins are a surprising 7-4 so far, so this will be a nice little battle towards the end of the season. Buffalo still has a couple of tough tests this season, including a battle against the still undefeated Steelers in Week 14, and a season ending game against none other than the Dolphins.
The Bills need to continue to focus on rising star, Josh Allen, as he has already thrown 22 TD passes, and only given away 8 interceptions. Cole Beasley and Stefon Diggs will continue to be targets for Allen, which will also need a little ground help from Devin Singletery.
The Bills need to focus on how they’ve played their season so far, where they have had decent offense and defense through these weeks. Their three games lost this season have been close battles, except for their Titans defeat in Week 5. But their play has impressed many, and should do some damage in the postseason. Nonetheless, they’ll need to focus on their visit to the 49ers, in the Cardinals’ stadium this week.
Our betting prediction for the week will be focused on the 49ers, in what should be a close battle against the Bills. The visiting team is slightly favored in the betting spread, however, we feel that San Francisco is motivated to make a final push for the season. Them coming off a win against a good team like the Rams, should further motivate them to try and step on the Bills as well. We feel this will be a close battle, but favorable for the Niners.
The Dart Throw: Buffalo Bills 23 – 27 San Francisco 49ers
