The following games all start at 1 p.m. Eastern time:
NFL Week 1 – Washington Football Team at Atlanta Falcons
Well, it looks as if the Falcons have an underachieving offense, while the WFT has an underachieving defense. Still, Washington’s stop unit he’s probably the best on the field, and they have the potential to harass Matt Ryan, who is relatively stationary out of the pocket, especially if Chase Young wakes up. We will take Washington minus the two points, laying – 115.
NFL Week 4 — Detroit Lions at Chicago Bears
Chicago coach Matt Nagy says that he will be getting Justin Fields to move out of the pocket a lot more, and certainly something has to help, considering that the Bears had just 47 total yards and gave up nine sacks of Fields in his NFL starting debut last week. Fields is not ready to play this role in the NFL, so we are very hesitant to lay 2.5 points with him against a Detroit team that is winless, but has more working parts on offense right now.
NFL Week 4 – Tennessee Titans at New York Jets
Tennessee will be missing Julio Jones and AJ Brown from this game, but with Derrick Henry, they have as explosive a weapon as is available. Here’s the thing about the Jets — Zach Wilson might be making a little progress, and he’s further along than Fields right now, but he’s nowhere near where the Jets need for him to be in order to compete. New York has scored just three first-half points over three games. We are compelled to lay the lumber with Tennessee and go under the total here – those numbers are 5.5 and 44, respectively.

NFL Eeek 4 – Cleveland Browns at Minnesota Vikings
Myles Garrett and the Cleveland pass rush can be imposing, but Kirk Cousins knows how to get rid of the ball to avoid heavy pressure. Cousins also knows how to put up numbers, and he has distributed the football about as well as any quarterback in the NFL. Minnesota could be undefeated right now, except for some tough breaks. In this pick-em situation, we’ll go with the Vikings.
NFL Week 4 – Indianapolis Colts at Miami Dolphins
All the attention is on Tom Brady playing against the Patriots again, but Jacoby Brissett will face off against his former teammates as he is in the uniform of the Dolphins. Brissett is last among starting NFL quarterbacks in yards per attempt, but it’s tough to get all that excited about Carson Wentz, who is dealing with two bad ankles and a lack of overall weaponry. Miami’s defense gets it done here, so we are laying two points with them.
NFL Week 4 – Carolina Panthers at Dallas Cowboys
Carolina is undefeated through three games, allowing just 30 points, and they have surrendered only 17 yards per drive, best in the NFL. But consider that they went up against New Orleans, which gains fewer yards per drive and all but two teams, and two quarterbacks who were making their first start in the NFL. Dallas will be a whole new experience for this defense, and the Panthers will have a tougher time training points without Christian McCaffrey in the lineup. We will lay 4.5 points with Dallas.
NFL Week 4 – Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles
Andy Reid returns to Philadelphia. And he’s just out of the hospital, having suffered from dehydration. Kansas City’s defense is probably the least efficient in the NFL, but even with offensive line problems, they’ll be able to score because of Patrick Mahomes ability to improvise. The Eagles at least have enough offensive weapons to keep firing away, and there may be some garbage time here. We’ll go over the total of 54 points.
