Monday Night Football Prop Bets
Daniel Jones — Passing Yards
Over 253.5 yards – 114
Under 253.5 yards -114
We’ll be honest with you; Jones has an average of a little under 247 yards per game. That is below this number, obviously, but when you factor in how bad the Chiefs defense has been, it might make sense to figure he could exceed it.
Kansas City is in a position where only six teams in the NFL have yielded more yardage through the air, and even though New York may not have a full set of offensive weapons, this could work for them.
We say that especially if they’ve got Kadarius Toney in the game. But remember another thing — If you’re expecting Kansas City to score a whole bunch of points, then the Giants will most likely be playing catch-up, and that means the ground game – or whatever there is of it – will be further minimized. Monday Night Football Prop Bets
Darrell Williams – Rushing Yards
Over 60.5 yards – 114
Under 60.5 yards – 114
Well, Williams has 181 yards in 52 attempts this season. Obviously that’s not super-productive, as he comes in just below 3.5 yards per carry. Since the Chiefs are missing Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Williams will be the #1 option in the rushing game.
But how much will the Chiefs really run the ball? Last week’s game, a 27 – 3 loss to Tennessee, may not have been much of a barometer, although they did throw 51 times compared to just 15 rushes. But BetAnySports over the last three games, Kansas City has run the ball less than 28% of the time. So we would go UNDER here, as we don’t expect Williams to be a major factor taking handoffs.
Monday Night Football Props
Travis Kelce – Receiving Yards
Over 80.5 yards – 114
Under 80.5 yards – 114
One of the things defenses have been doing with Kansas City is playing two safeties deep, in order to minimize explosive plays. They’re not blitzing — in fact, Mahomes is only seen a blitz on 10.7% of his dropbacks — but there are a lot of people back in coverage. Unless he’s going to improvise, we would figure that Kelce, the All-Pro tight end, would be a pretty good short-range target for him. So we are going OVER on this one.
Monday Night Football Prop Bets
Kadarius Toney to score the first touchdown +1500
We thought we’d take a shot with this one, although no one is 100% certain whether Toney will play. But he can be a very big factor if he does. This is a guy who has exhibited moves that indicate he could be a lot like Odell Beckham in terms of his impact on the Giants offense. And just a little more than eight quarters of play, he had over 300 yards in receptions, until he had to leave the game with the Rams a couple of weeks ago with an ankle injury. He’s been practicing, and if he plays, he could be dangerous. So this might not be a bad price, assuming, of course, that the Giants are in a position where they can get on the board first.
