PGA Odds: Watson a Popular Choice at Travelers Championship
Bubba Watson is the man to beat at this week’s Travelers Championship. The 35-year-old will take to the TPC at the River Highlands golf course with a confidence inspiring track record and 12/1 odds to win the tournament. Though he missed the cut at the US Open last week, his Masters win from earlier in the season coupled with the fact that he’s already won the Travelers, bodes well for him now.

Ranked No. 3 in the world, Watson will be the highest profile individual to compete in the four-day event while world leader Adam Scott and No. 2 Henrik Stenson will pass. However, Watson will still face some stiff competition.
World No. 5 Matt Kuchar is 12/1 to win the Travelers Championship, and other members of the PGA elite like Dustin Johnson and Jason Day sit poised to strike in the sportsbook as well.
Can Watson channel whatever gave him the strength to win this very course back in 2010? He’ll need to recover momentum after his performance at Pinehurst, but salvation is there for the taking.
