Irving and the Nets Get $35,000 fine EACH
Kyrie Irving and the Brooklyn Nets each gets a $35,000 fine for violating the NBA's media access rules. Apparently, healthy players must make themselves available (upon request) before or after a game for interviews with the media. Irving has declined these requests, even from top sports news sites, most recently after their loss to the Bucks.
This sounds familiar to many of you because this is the second time this season that both of them are fined for violating the same rules. The only difference is that the previous fine was lower, at $25,000.
