Converting Free Play Sportsbook Bonuses Into Cash

Remember the solid days when sportsbooks would offer you a decent cash signup or reload bonus? Yes a few of these online bookies still exist but they are few to none now. Let's get to the math of the entire deal. Free Play bonuses are not as good as cash signup bonuses and you have a few hurtles to get it turned into cash mathematically but I will be going into detail on how to do this.

The best way to turn your free play bonus into guaranteed cash is to make a bet and then hedge the opposite side at another book. Sister sportsbooks might frown on that and take your winnings so you need to have an account with another none related sportsbook.

If you do not want to open up multiple accounts their is several other ways to go about it on earning as much as you can on your free plays but one thing you never want to do is take a huge favorite on a game. If you have a $100 free play and you bet it on a -200 your only going to have $50 cash balance assuming they win which comes out to junk in the long run.

Try and take run lines and divide them up equally. By using this method you just need to win around 35% of the bets to convert it into cash assuming the run lines are +125 or higher. Another method while doing this is to take the underdog on the ML and the favorite with the run line. You will win less but the only way you can lose your free play is if the favorite only wins by 1 run.

The most important thing to remember is to avoid the -125 favorites and higher. Even if you win them in reality your just selling your free play balance for apx 75% cash. It's possible to easily get a + return on these free plays you just need to have some luck while spreading the bets out on the run lines.

Another way of doing this is taking 2 or 3 team parlays. I usually don't recommend you take 3 team parlays because statistically they are a bad bet and recommend you stick with dividing the free plays up in 2 teamers.

I personally like the idea of "betting opposite ways" with several none related sportsbooks. If you do it right and simply use your signup or reload bonus on these two wagering accounts your guaranteed to earn money for free. Yes this is close to bonus whoring and just like any adventure if you want to go deep into the bonus side of things you can earn some decent money on just whoring out bonuses. If your in the states its not as easy anymore since Neteller is no longer around but overall it's possible and once you get the hang of it nothing can stop you except a bad sportsbook who does not pay.

bonuses are a great tool for new and veteran players alike. We enjoy offering them because it helps convincing players to join and consider it a cost to be in the business.

Almost noone offers a "no deposit" free bet... You need to deposit, make a qualifying bet by following the terms (min odds, etc) and then the free bet is credited to your account... Another easy way to convert these bonuses is through back/lay with Betfair or another exchange (Non-US only)... Called "Matched Betting"...

Thanks AK, this is a nice site with people trying to help instead of trying to pick on each other.
