The Cleveland Browns Beckham Jr is in trouble with the law. A court issued a misdemeanor simple battery warrant against him in New Orleans. It came after a social media video showed the former LSU star hitting a security officer’s behind during the school’s victory celebration in the locker room.
After LSU won the college national championship game, Beckham Jr. joined in the locker room celebration of the team. The Browns told a Pay Per Head Sportsbook that they are aware of the charges. Also, they already contacted Beckham Jr. and his staff about the issue. The team is also cooperating with authorities to address the situation.
Also, authorities warned LSU players that they might face arrest after some of them were seen smoking cigars. The worse part of it was that there were photos of them holding the cigars. Smoking inside the Superdome is forbidden.
