The Bucks have a chance of overtaking the Brooklyn Nets for second place in the Eastern Conference. Three games remain and the squad is still alive for the top seed. Milwaukee is 3 games behind the 76ers with 3 to play.

Indiana has secured a berth in the play-in tournament. The Pacers are tied with Charlotte for eighth place in the East. The Hornets have the head-to-head tiebreaker. Indiana entered Wednesday’s games one game ahead of the Washington Wizards. Washington also has the tiebreaker over the Pacers.

Following their game against the Bucks, the Pacers close the regular season with back-to-back games this weekend at home against the Los Angeles Lakers and in Tampa against the Toronto Raptors.

This, That, and a Dart Throw

The Pacers beat the Sixers in their last outing. Philadelphia was without Joel Embiid for the 20th time this season. They outscored them 52-32 in the second half after trailing at the half.

Domantas Sabonis recorded his ninth triple-double of the season. He racked up 16 points, 15 assists and 13 rebounds. Caris LeVert scored 13 of his 24 points in the fourth quarter to lead the comeback.

Milwaukee came out blazing and took care of business with a 114-102 home win over the Orlando Magic Tuesday night. This was a day after a loss to the San Antonio Spurs. The loss snapped a five-game winning streak.

The Bucks close the regular season by hosting the Miami Heat on Saturday. They then take a quick trip to Chicago to face the Bulls on Sunday.

Giannis Antetokounmpo once again led Milwaukee with 27 points and 12 rebounds. The Greek Freak scored 12 of those points in the fourth quarter. Donte DiVincenzo also had 19 points.

The Dart Throw: Pacers 114, Bucks 110

This was actually a great game, but if the Warriors want to become the team they were back in the time they need to invest in young talent again as they did with Steph. Avidja is a great prospect for the future and in the hands of Kerr, he could do miracles. I was reading here about his great start with the Wizards while they drafted him as the first Israelian player in the NBA and wondered what could the future hold for him. I’m really keen on his handling and FG percentages so far.
